Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis wajib dimiliki oleh lulusan program sarjana di Indonesia sehingga perlu terus dikaji dan dimonitor pencapaiannya sebagai hasil belajar selain Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK). Penelitian korelasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan IPK. Pengumpulan data berpikir kritis menggunakan metode wawancara tertutup, IPK diambil dari akun akademik pimpinan fakultas. Sebanyak 47 orang (laki-laki= 29 dan perempuan= 18) bertindak sebagai sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) digunakan untuk menganalisis validitas dan reliabilitas konstruk hasil coding wawancara menggunakan LISREL 8.80 Trial. Sedangkan analisis statistik menggunakan deskriptif, Mann-Whitney Test, dan korelasi product moment menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengukuran dinyatakan valid (λ= 0,77-0,88) dan reliabel (CR= 0,86). Rata-rata tingkat berpikir kritis calon guru Pendidikan Jasmani Olahraga dan Kesehatan (PJOK) berada pada tingkat rendah (M= 83,9; SD= 6,89; min= 74,6; max= 97,7). Tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis calon guru PJOK laki-laki dan perempuan (U= 0,241, p= 0,81). Terdapat hubungan linear berpikir kritis dengan IPK (r (47)= 0,542, p= 0,000) dengan besar kontribusi sebesar 28%. Kondisi rendahnya berpikir kritis sangat dikhawatirkan memengaruhi tingkat inovatif para calon guru sehingga pengukuran, monitoring, dan treatment perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.
