Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dalam berolahraga dengan tingkat kebugaran jasmani pada remaja di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Self-efficacy merujuk pada keyakinan individu terhadap kemampuannya dalam melaksanakan aktivitas tertentu, khususnya aktivitas fisik atau olahraga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel terdiri dari 60 siswa SMP yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi kuesioner self-efficacy dan Tes Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI) untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran jasmani. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal (p > 0,05), sehingga digunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Diperoleh nilai korelasi sebesar r = 0,615 dengan tingkat signifikansi p = 0,000, yang mengindikasikan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-efficacy dan kebugaran jasmani. Hal ini berarti semakin tinggi tingkat self-efficacy yang dimiliki siswa, maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kebugaran jasmani mereka. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa self-efficacy berperan penting dalam peningkatan kebugaran jasmani pada remaja. Temuan ini mengimplikasikan perlunya pendekatan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani yang tidak hanya menekankan pada aspek fisik, tetapi juga mendukung pengembangan keyakinan diri siswa dalam berolahraga secara berkelanjutan.
