Abstract

Di era digital, anak-anak semakin sering terlibat dalam aktivitas berbasis layar daripada permainan tradisional, yang mungkin berkontribusi terhadap menurunnya kebugaran fisik, melemahnya hubungan sosial, dan berkurangnya motivasi belajar. Permainan tradisional, sebagai bagian dari warisan budaya, menawarkan manfaat potensial untuk mengatasi masalah-masalah ini melalui perkembangan anak yang holistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara sistematis dampak permainan tradisional terhadap kebugaran fisik, hubungan sosial, dan motivasi belajar di kalangan siswa sekolah dasar. Pendekatan tinjauan literatur digunakan. Proses penelitian meliputi: (1) mendefinisikan fokus studi dan pertanyaan penelitian; (2) melakukan pencarian sistematis di berbagai basis data (Google Scholar, Wiley, Scopus, dan Springer) menggunakan kata kunci “traditional games,” “physical fitness,” “social relationships,” dan “children’s learning motivation”; (3) mengidentifikasi 242 catatan awal (Google Scholar = 121, Wiley = 19, Scopus = 76, Springer = 26); (4) penyaringan dan penilaian kelayakan, yang menghasilkan 25 artikel relevan; dan (5) inklusi akhir 8 studi untuk analisis mendalam. Data dikelola dan dianalisis menggunakan Publish or Perish dan Mendeley. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap perkembangan anak-anak. Sekitar 78% peserta menunjukkan peningkatan dalam keterampilan motorik dan kebugaran fisik, dengan aktivitas fisik harian mencapai hingga 120 menit. Selain itu, 82% anak-anak melaporkan peningkatan keterikatan sosial, termasuk peningkatan komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan pemahaman emosional, serta berkurangnya kecemasan sosial. Permainan tradisional juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar hingga 30% dan meningkatkan prestasi akademik sekitar 15% dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Kesimpulannya, permainan tradisional berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap perkembangan fisik, sosial, dan kognitif anak-anak. Mengintegrasikan permainan tradisional ke dalam kurikulum pendidikan jasmani sangat direkomendasikan untuk mendukung perkembangan holistik, melestarikan nilai-nilai budaya, dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang menarik.
